Revocation, quarantine, containment, and recovery

Draft

Draft document. This page is unverified, is not indexed by search engines, and may change without notice. It describes a design target, not deployed capability.

Status

CANONICAL TARGET

Scope

Removes authority, isolates affected principals or artifacts, limits blast radius, and restores a known-good state under human control.

  • Revocation is immediate in intent: once authority is withdrawn, subsequent decisions on it resolve to BLOCK.
  • Quarantine isolates a principal or artifact pending governed human review.
  • Recovery restores state from preserved evidence rather than from operator memory.

Automatic circuit breakers are not completed. In the current design, containment actions are human-initiated. This component is part of the intended architecture; its implementation maturity is reported separately on the development status page.

Evidence required before this label can change

A qualified implementation with preserved assurance evidence, reviewed under the canonical contract for this component. Until that evidence exists, this document remains a design target.
